Account information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and, if you sign in with Google, your name and profile picture as provided by Google.

Profile data: Information you voluntarily provide such as your location (city, country), available capital, skills, time availability, risk tolerance, and business preferences.

Usage data: We collect information about how you interact with the platform, including pages visited, features used, and actions taken.

AI interaction data: Text inputs you provide to our AI systems, such as business ideas, validation queries, and chat messages with the AI co-founder.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and improve our AI-powered services
  • Generate personalized business opportunities and execution plans
  • Process your AI co-founder chat interactions

4. Authentication Data

Email authentication: If you sign up with email, your credentials are securely managed by Supabase, our authentication provider. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text.

Google login: If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google. We do not receive or store your Google password. The OAuth flow is handled securely by Supabase.

We do not share your authentication credentials with any third party beyond our authentication provider.

5. Analytics

We use PostHog, a product analytics platform, to understand how users interact with Webyne. Analytics data may include:

  • Pages visited and features used
  • Session duration and navigation patterns
  • Device type and browser information
  • Aggregated usage statistics

Analytics are collected to improve the product experience and are not used to personally identify individual users for advertising purposes.

6. AI Processing

Webyne processes user input through AI systems (including Anthropic Claude and real-time search APIs) to generate startup insights, business plans, market analyses, and execution guidance.

Important: Your business ideas and profile data are sent to these AI services to generate personalized results. We do not use your data to train AI models. AI-generated content is provided as guidance and does not constitute professional business, legal, or financial advice.

7. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard practices:

  • Authentication data is managed by Supabase (hosted on secure cloud infrastructure)
  • Application data (projects, tasks, playbooks) is stored in MongoDB with encryption at rest
  • We do not sell your personal data to third parties

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data
  • Withdraw consent for data processing at any time
  • Export your data in a portable format
